Using Elabify Cloud Hybrid Connectivity, we can increase your cloud security by keeping your application off of the public internet while providing access to applications to users both inside and outside of mainland China. This solution does not require an ICP License and can greatly reduce latency and improve performance to users in China. We strongly recommend this approach to any client adopting cloud services in China.
We deploy the gateway using SSL VPN encryption (AES256) with up to 5 physical connections (contact us for more connections, or IPSec configurations). This is the perfect way to easily connect multiple global offices together to a cloud application securely. Only the traffic that needs to go to the cloud is routed to the Gateway — all other traffic remains on your company network and hidden from the cloud by default.
You can connect all your corporate regions together with a single gateway for an unlimited number of applications hosted in the cloud. If you have users in mainland China, we highly recommend deploying a gateway in mainland China due to constraints of VPN connections going out of mainland China. For must applications, we recommend estimating each user will need about 0.2 Mbps (25 Users = 5Mbps).
Note: You must have a router which supports SSL OpenVPN. Many modern routers support this capability such as a consumer grade Asus RT-AC68U or enterprise grade Cisco ASA 5500. Our Cloud Team can help you perform the network configuration necessary to support your users if you require assistance.
